was born on 26 Nov 1765 in North Carolina. To Capt. James Trousdale and Elizabeth Ferguson Trousdale
Their Children John Trousdale; Alexander Ferguson Trousdale; Ann Trousdale; Mary Trousdale and Elizabeth Trousdale:

Alexander's Half brother was Governor Of Tennessee William Trousdale

He married Nancy Emily ALLEN about 1785. Alexander served in the military Captain in North Carolina Line Rev War in North Carolina.
Some records indicate that Alexander was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery-Nashville was his final resting place but I'm open to discussion on the topic.(however some of his family is buried there)

After Alexander's death in 1830 his wife moved into Arkansas with several of their children. Allen Trousdale settled in Oklahoma and his son became a Sherriff in the "Wild West"
Nancy Ann Trousdale Married COL. Samuel Gladney in TN and moved to what is today Columbia and Union County ARK. Sam and Nancy Gladney had 10 children. Their descendants still thrive in those counties under the surnames: COLQUITT,BOREING,LYLE,CRUMPLER and MACAHEN.
