Her family was at her bedside. Leticia was born February 25, 1939 in Ricardo, NM to the home of Nicholas Jose and Leonorita (Gauna) Samora. She attended schools in Yeso and Fort Sumner.
Leticia married Jerry Webb in 1971 at Fort Sumner. She worked for many years as a waitress at Fort Sumner restaurants and cafe's. She also traveled with Jerry on his construction jobs and worked traffic control at road construction sites.
Leticia was a member of the Valley Quilting Club, she spent many hours working on crafts, embroidery, and making quilts. She was a longtime member of The Church on The Hill in Fort Sumner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Derrick Casaus, and three sisters Eloisa Samora, Geraldine Conklin, and Aurora Levario.
Survivors include Jerry Webb, her husband of 43 years, five daughters Mae Cortese of Fort Sumner, Anna Mae Cordova (James) of Albuquerque, Betsy Romero of Fort Sumner, Donna Romero of Clovis, Theresa Scott of Albuquerque, two sons Donnie Romero (Darlene) of Clovis and Paul Webb (Kerri) of Fort Sumner, five brothers Nick Zamora (Louisa) of Portales, Raymond Samora of Fort Sumner, Sosteno Samora (Leona) of Clovis, Lucio Samora (Annabelle) of Roswell, Manuel Samora (Cecilia) of Albuquerque, two sisters Cecilia Servantis (Gene) of Lubbock, and Corrine Marez (Guillermo) of Albuquerque.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation hours will be Monday from 1pm to 6pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services at 10am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from The Church on The Hill with Pastor Anna Teeter-Gentile officiating.
Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include grandchildren Carrie Capell, Jamie Campos, Jenny Campos, Kelsey Romero, Kurstin Webb, Tiara Garcia, Aliah Scott, Jared Romero, Sam Cortese, and Javin Webb.
