Marion Louise Bridges was the daughter of Grover Cleveland Bridges and Mildred L (Hopkins) Bridges.

Marion married Desmond Reuben Gray on October 1936 in Maine. They had a son Larry Wayne Gray. Her husband Desmond died in World War II and is buried in the Henri-Chapelle Cemetery in Belguim.
