Margaret Fox Lemley, 98, of Whiteley Township, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

She was born Thursday, July 5, 1917, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Jesse Fox and Pearl Moore Fox.

Mrs. Lemley was a member of Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church. She was committed to serving God through helping others. She was known as the “Noodle Lady” and the “Angel Food Cake Lady.”

On January 21, 1937, she married her husband, Don V. Lemley, who died June 25, 1993.

Surviving are a daughter, a son, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are daughter Donna Lee Singer; son C. Ronald Lemley; grandson Ronnie Lemley; daughter-in-law Lena Lemley; and two brothers, Stanley Fox and Clarence Fox.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of a memorial service, Saturday, November 28, in Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church, 1552 Big Shannon Run Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with the Rev. Jacob Judy officiating.

Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, is in charge of arrangements. Private burial will be in Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Township.
