She was born Monday, May 23, 1927, in Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late Ralph Hickman and Ruth Fitzgerald Hickman.
Mrs. O'Brien enjoyed reading.
She worked as a clerk at Monongalia Health Department in Morgantown, W.Va.
Her first husband, Neil Barbe, died in 1950. Also deceased are her second husband, Robert Drodge, and her third husband, John O'Brien.
Surviving are two daughters, Anita Hudson of Boston, Mass., and Michelle Shaffer of Mt. Morris; a son, Gregg V. (Shirley) Barbe of Mt. Morris; four grandchildren, J.R. Hudson, Ashley Hudson, Mandy Michael-Amick and Jessica Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Jeanne King.
At the request of the deceased, visitation and services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with lay pastor Randy Copeland officiating. Private burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
