Funeral services were held at 4 p. m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev E. E. Coleman as the officiant. Burial was in the New Electra Cemetery under direction of Totten Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Wittenbach, Bobby Dovel, Dwain McCoy, Glenn Bentley, Don Flippin and T. W. Burkhalter.
Barrow was born and reared in Electra and was graduated from Electra High School. He attended Texas Weslyan College in Fort Worth. During World War Two he was a civilian clerk in England, and later served in the army of occupation in Japan and was a paratrooper in Korea.
Barrow was discharged from the Army Aug. 23. He visited here last week, returning to his home in Grand-Prairie Wednesday night.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Kathy Lou, 18 months, and Donna Sue, four months; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Barrow Sr.; two brothers Cullen Barrow of Electra and Truman Barrow of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. J. P. Aderholt of Grand Prairie and Miss Carolyn Barrow, a nurse in Harris Memorial Hospital in Fort Worth.
A brother, Frank Barrow, was killed by lightning while serving in the Army about three years ago._
