Rebecca was one of five know children of John & Rachel [Hersey] Griffith. Her father John was the s/o Joseph & Mary [Jones] Griffith. Many Jones & Griffith family were members of this church and are buried here.
Added note, in 1710 many Griffiths and Jones came together in a small group from Wales to settle here in Newark and became members of this church.
