They later resided in Sharon, Walworth Co., Wisconsin, and Somers, Kenosha Co., Wisconsin before settling in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He died of malarial fever on 9 Oct 1882, and was buried on 11 Oct 1882 with his wife.
