Bazine -- Emily Rose Gross, 19, died Nov. 6, 2004, at Hays.

She was born Aug. 2, 1985, at Hays, the daughter of Marvin D. and Denise Dinges Gross.

A lifetime resident of Bazine, she graduated from Bazine High School and was a sophomore at Fort Hays State University. She belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City.

Survivors include: her parents, Bazine; two brothers, Terry Gross, Ness City, and Dylan Gross, Bazine; a sister, Sara Gross, Bazine; and grandparents, Wendelin and Alvera Dinges, Hays.

Parish vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with Father Henry Hildebrandt presiding. Friends may sign register from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. The casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Bazine Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Emily R. Gross Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
