Ephraim Wilson of West Union died at the National Soldier's Home at Dayton, Ohio, Thursday, April 8, aged 75 years. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the civil war having served throughout the conflict as a member of the First West Virginia cavalry. He had resided all his life in the neighborhood of West Union and will be greatly missed in that community. He was a member of the West Union Presbyterian church and always took an active interest in church work. His wife has been dead for several years and he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William Dulaney, of West Union. Two brothers and two sisters also survive, Samuel and Jacob Wilson, of Illinois: Mrs. James Bedillion, of Washington, and Mrs. Rhoda Duberry, of West Virginia. The remains were brought to the home of his daughter, at West Union on Saturday, where the funeral services were held, conducted by the Rev. W. S. Danley, D. D. Intrment in West Union Cemetery.
