Graveside services for Mary Seiwell Gifford, 82, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. She died Thursday of kidney failure at Village Healthcare Center in Hemet.
Harford Funeral Home in Hemet is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Gifford, who was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., lived for 50 years in Hemet. She was a teacher for the Hemet Unified School District for 20 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hemet.
Mrs. Gifford is survived by a step-son, Charles of Norfolk, Va., and two nephews, George Drown of Earp and Edward Drown of Carlsbad.
