The daughter of famed Australian painter Brett Whiteley, and his wife Wendy Whiteley, she also appeared in numerous other films and television shows. Among Whiteley's other roles are the films, "The Killing Of Angel Street" (1981), "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior" (1981), "Razorback" (1984), "Scandal" (1989), "The Secret Life Of Ian Fleming" (1990), "Gallowglass" (1993), "Princess Caraboo" (1994), "Without Warning" (1999), "and "The Last Musketeer" (2000). Her television appearances include, "A Touch Of Frost", "McCallum", "A Dinner Of Herbs", "Kavanaugh QC", "Natural Lies", "Love Hurts", "Spring & Fall", "A Town Like Alice", "A Country Practice", and "Kings." She was married to Christopher Kuhn from 1995 to 1999, and to Jim Elliott in December 2001. She passed away from cancer at the age of 36, in Palm Beach, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. According to her obituary in the London Times Newspaper, she was once babysat by musician Janis Joplin, at the Chelsea Hotel in New York. She was cremated and interred with her father.
