Little Hope for Woman’s Recovery
Mrs. Henry Sabel, 44, 1712 1-2 Sixth avenue, was in a serious condition at the Sisters’ hospital today from burns received when her clothing caught fire while she was preparing fruit preserves at her home. Physicians stated that she had received third degree burns and that there was little hope for her recovery.

Victim of Burns to be Buried Tomorrow
Funeral service will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Henry Sabel, who died at St. Vincent’s hospital from burns suffered Oct. 11 while preserving fruit. The services will be conducted from the family residence at 1712 1-2 Sixth avenue. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Sabel is survived by a husband, two sons and five daughters.
