Margaret Jane Rutan Toland, 63, of Graysville R.D. 1, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 1982, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for one day.
She was born April 29, 1919, in Morris Township, a daughter of Harry and Nellie Hazel Miller Rutan.
Mrs. Toland had lived most of her life in Morris Township.
Surviving are two daughters, four sons, 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James (Isabelle) Pettit and Mrs. Jack (Irene) Morris, both of Holbrook R.D. 1; seven brothers, James, Carl and Wilbert, all of Prosperity R.D. 1, Harry and Hershel Rutan, both of Waynesburg, Richard Rutan of Mt. Morris Star Route, Waynesburg and Ellsworth Rutan of Toronto, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Her hhusband, Cecil Toland, died August 9, 1969. One grandson, Gary, one sister, Frances, and two brothers, Thomas and John, are also deceased.
