Mr. Wolcott was well known and Mrs. Upton took care of him during his illness. While Mr. Wolcott was a Methodist in faith he had united with no church in Sedalia, but lived a true Christian life.
He is survived by two brothers and one sister, Wallace T. Wolcott, Monroe, Ia., Mrs. Belle P. Baggs, Sebastepol, Calif., Leeman Wolcott of Santa Rosa, Calif. The latter wiring the money here to give him a Christian burial. The deceased was loved by those who knew him for his kindly good nature. - Sedalia Democrat - Tuesday, November 16, 1916 pg.12
