Fred A. Schenk of Fox Chase Manor, Pennsylvania died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at his residence. He was 79 years old. Fred was born May 24, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late William Schenk and the late Louise Schenk (nee - Gruber).

He is the husband of the late Dr. Norma Christensen-Schenk. Father of Christopher F. Schenk and his wife Darcy and Lisa Schenk. Grandfather of Kyle, Adelaide and Will. Brother of Walter and the late William Schenk. Longtime companion of Ruth Duff.

Fred worked with his father and brothers for many years at William Schenk and Sons Construction. Fred has worked in many areas of construction and building including residential, commercial and industrial. He was a lifetime member of Cannstatter Volksfest Verein.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. and his funeral service at 11:30 A.M. at Gloria Dei Church, 570 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. 19006. A cemetery service at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA. 19046 followed the funeral service.
