Carl C.P. Clay was a longtime resident of Valley Park Ms. he was born to the late Albert N. Clay and Saphronia Jane Porter Clay on Dec.14,1944. he was 71 when he passed away. besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Harold L. Clay Sr., Roy E. Clay, Cletus N. Clay Sr., infant brothers Leonard Leon Clay, William Travis Clay and infant sister Janice Meredith Clay. C.P. is survived by his wife Shirley Clay of Valley Park,Ms. a daughter Billie Clay of Hattiesburg,Ms. a son Rusty Clay of Vicksburg,Ms. 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. a brother Virgil Clay and his wife Connie of Vicksburg,Ms. 5 sisters Alberta "Birdie" Diesing & husband Carl of Far Rockaway,N.Y.; Bethel Stroder of Mer Rouge,La; Donna Jane Johnson of Marion,Ar; Virginia Brown & husband Barney of Vicksburg,Ms; and Gloria Collum of Oak Grove,La. memorial services were held Feb.20,2016 11:00am at Valley Park Baptist Church Valley Park,Ms.
