Fannie came to the United States in 1956 to see her sister Lukra (Lucy) Laurich Viscovich. They had not seen each other in 50 years. Lukra (Lucy) left New Zealand in 1906 with her husband Tony Viskovich and 2 young daughter's Mary age 1 year and 8 months and Priscilla 6 months old.
They had a wonderful reunion. The reunion was in the Oakland Tribune Sunday May 27, 1956 page A-25 entitled HAPPY REUNION.
