Judy A. Walters, 66, Logansport, went to be with the Lord on Monday March 7, 2016 in her residence after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Born February 1, 1950 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Howard C. and Helen (Fettig) Smith.

On December 10, 1994 in Logansport she married Kenneth "Kenny" E. Walters who preceded in death January 8, 1995. On March 4, 2008 in Logansport she married Tom W. Kasch who survives.

Judy retired from National Friction Products after 18 years of service. She was a 1968 graduate of Pioneer High School, a member of the Performing Arts Council from 1988-1998, a volunteer at Logansport Memorial Hospital and was a member of Pisgah Christian Church. Judy enjoyed doing the Lord’s work and enjoyed visiting and reading to the residents at Woodbridge Health Campus.

Surviving along with her husband is one daughter, Elizabeth Hopkins, West Lafayette, IN; grandson, Lucas Hopkins, West Lafayette, IN; mother-in-law, Sheila Davis, Logansport; aunt, Julia (Ralph) Strubbe, Greenfield, IN; two cousins, Daniel J. (Debbie) Fettig, Peru, IN; JoEllen (Michael) McFaddin, Grand Ledge, MI; and several other cousins.
