Beverly Vetter
(January 3, 1936 - March 6, 2016)
Beverly Vetter, 80, Harvey, formerly of Fessenden, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at St. Aloisius Medical Center, Harvey, ND surrounded by her family.

Beverly Prom, daughter of Leonard Sr. and Alma (Englehart) Prom was born January 3, 1936 in Harvey where she was raised and attended school. She graduated from Harvey High School in 1954.

On June 15, 1954, she married the love of her life, Leonard Vetter, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Harvey. They made their home on a farm in Wellsburg where they raised their five children until moving to Fessenden. In addition to caring for her family, Beverly worked outside of the home at local Fessenden businesses. In 1989, they moved to Warroad, MN to work for Marvin Windows until they retired in 1995. Leonard passed away on November 16, 1998. Beverly moved to Harvey after Leonard's death and had resided there since. For a number of years, Beverly had spent several months each winter with her daughters Connie and Lisa in Dallas, TX.

Beverly was an active member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church through her service as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Catholic Daughters. She also enjoyed her time working as a Senior Companion.

Beverly's love of family was very apparent to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This love was shown to her family through frequent phone calls, visits, baking of her famous caramel rolls, quilting, crocheting, embroidered dish towel making, gardening and canning. We have all cherished the many fruits of her labors. Another characteristic unique to Beverly was her ability to remember birthdays, anniversaries, and any other significant event for her family, extended family and friends.

She is survived by her five children; Kevin (Tammy) Vetter, Bismarck, Peggy (Paul) Sundquist, Casselton, Doug (Beth) Vetter, Burnsville, MN, Connie (Todd) Wentz, Dallas , TX and Lisa (Doug) Best, Dallas, TX, twelve grandchildren; Brandon Vetter, Shanna Ellingboe, Nicholas Vetter, Jennifer Thorenson, Joshua Sundquist, Ashley and Paige Vetter, Alexandra and Thomas Wentz, Annie, Matthew, and Michael Best; five great grandchildren, Olivia, Ryker, Andrew, Adelyn, and Allison; two sisters, Annella Schlenker, Lodi, CA and LaVonne Heilman, Albany, OR, and two brothers, Art Prom and Leonard Prom, Jr., both of Harvey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, her infant daughter, Mary, her parents and her sisters Anna Mae Lamm and Myra Zeroth.
