At home Saturday (August 10, 2002) Mary Rose Hornish wife of the late Otto R. Hornish, Jr. of Annawon Ave, West Haven. Mother of Carol Hornish of Wallingford and Otto R. Hornish III of Avon. Also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also enjoyed her five sisters and brothers-in-law.

Mrs. Hornish was much admired and very special to generations of kindergarteners at W. Main St. School in Milford.

After retirement, she worked with her husband in the family business, CT. Post Wine Cellar in Milford. She was a member of the SCSU Alumni Assoc. and of the Our Lady of Victory Senior Group. She was also a volunteer for American Cancer Society. Her primary role was as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her loving and grateful family.

Funeral services from the West Haven Funeral Home at the green Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church at 10 a.m. The hours for visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. Entombment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
