Thomas Oliver Chisler, age 67 years, died Friday morning, Apr. 18, at nine o'clock, at his home at Jefferson. He had been in poor health for the past year and a half.
Mr. Chisler was born August 22, 1874, at Fairmont, W. Va., a son of Coleman and Mary Lambers Chisler, deceased. He married Grace Huffman, who survives. For the past 13 years he had lived in Jefferson and was a member of Mather Local No. 6157, United Mine Workers of America, being employed at the Mather mine.
In addition to his wife, the following children survive: Mrs. Margaret Callahan, Uniontown; Mrs. Madolyn Schwerder, Canton, O.; Genevieve, Washington, D. C., Kenneth, Akron, O. and Don, Canton, O. One brother, John Chisler, Fairmont, W. Va. also survives.
