Constance "Connie" Moore
November 21, 1924 - March 7, 2016 (age 91)

Constance "Connie" Moore, age 91, passed away peacefully at Haven of Flagstaff on March 7, 2016. She went to sleep and woke up in the arms of her blessed Savior. Born to Carroll and Anna Mahaffey on November 21, 1924 in Eugene, Oregon, she spent her childhood there until an Arizona cowboy came visiting a relative in the area, and they met. They married on February 14, 1942, moved to Flagstaff the next year and started raising a family of three boys; Gene, Dale, and Carroll and a daughter, Linette. She was active in her church and Women's Aglow, an avid horsewoman, and a talented painter and wood carver. She was affectionately known to her husband as the Little Chickadee, and to her friends as the Little Leprechaun. She was very proud of her Celtic heritage. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years. Bob Moore, sons Gene and Carroll. She is survived by her son Dale Moore of Glenwood Springs, Colo, her daughter Linette Smith of Flagstaff, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Haven of Flagstaff for their wonderful care of Connie during her time with them.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 14th 10:00 at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Visitation will be prior from 9:00 to 9:45, burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery.
