ST. REGIS - Brandon "Skeeter" Rittierodt, age 28, of St. Regis, formerly of Roundup, died March 8, 2003, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

He was born June 20, 1974, in Billings. He moved to Roundup with his mother and graduated from Roundup High School in 1992.

Brandon worked for the Goffena Ranch, east of Roundup, and for Ron Trow, also of Roundup, where he built pole sheds and many other types of buildings. He later moved to St. Regis, where he worked for Tri-Con Timber as a night shift forklift operator.

Brandon had many things in life that he loved to do: helping his grandfather on the family ranch west of Broadview, fishing, hunting, auto body work, mechanic work on autos, and he loved to race in the "Bump-N-Run" Racing.

Survivors include his mother, Debbie Holzworth of Billings; stepfather, Dale Rittierodt of Roundup; grandmother of Washington; Nancy Hammet, aunt, of Roundup; William R. Jones, uncle, of Broadview; and many other cousins and relatives.

"Skeeter" will be greatly missed by his many friends and family, and by a very special cousin, Tana Mae, of Roundup, who was like a sister to him.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, his grandfathers and great-grandparents.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 17, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
