Obituary
Margaret Anderson was born near Wyoming, Bath county, Kentucky, January 5, 1836. She departed this life at her home in Howard, Kansas, August 13, 1915, aged 79 years, 7 months and 8 days.

On the 4th day of May, 1869, she was united in marriage with Samuel S. Baird, who with three children is left to mourn the loss of all that is best in wife and mother. Two children, Jennie H., and Anna E. are dead. The surviving children are Mrs. B.J. Corbin, of Howard; W.S. Baird of Nevis, Canada, and E.C. Baird of King City, Mo.

In early youth she obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ, uniting with the Christian church. She lived a cheerful, hopeful, consistent Christian life and she died cherishing the hopes and the promises of her religion.

As we bid her goodbye, we claim the promise of meeting her again in a land where there is no pain, no tears, and where youth will be eternal.
