Public Notice: Mrs. Minter Succumbs at Elgin Today

Mrs. Fannie M. Minter, well known former resident of Belvidere, died this morning at the Elgin State hospital where she had been a patient for the past several months and since suffering a general breakdown of her health.

She was born near Dixon, Ill., Sept. 1, 1862 and grew to womanhood in Belvidere. Here she was also married to Ernest Minter who preceded her in death several years ago. The home was also made here for many years. Mrs. Minter was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Blake.

A son, Frank, and a daughter, Laura, have preceded her in death, as has a sister, Mrs. Henry Luge.

She is survived by three brothers, Charles, Frank, and Fred, all of Belvidere, and sister, Mrs. S. H. Bowley, of Flora.

The body will arrive in Belvidere this evening and be taken to the Witbeck & Johnson funeral home from where the services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J. L. Marks will officiate and burial will be at Belvidere cemetery.
