Obituary
Unidentified Newsclipping - 1891
CAPPS.--Fannie GIBBONS was born in Gasberton, Lincolnshire, England. She married Daniel Capps about forty-seven years ago. Soon after his death, about 20 years ago she came to Wilkesbarre, Pa., and shared the home and loving care of her daughter, Mrs. George FORD, where she died April 23, 1891, in her 73d year. Sister Capps was converted early and united with the Wesleyans. On coming to this country she united with the Methodist Episcopal church, and remained a faithful member. She was pleasing in deportment, devoted as a Christian, and affectionate and true as wife and mother. In her years of suffering she was hopeful, and in death triumphant. She leaves one son and two daughters.
