He was a 1964 graduate of Brandon High School and had served two years in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Dennis worked for 42 years at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac.
He married Kay Keefer on May 9, 2009 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Wallace, MI.
He enjoyed sports cars and racing.
Dennis is survived by his wife Kay;
a daughter Patricia (Timothy) Bouche;
four stepdaughters: Carolyn (Daniel) Bottkol, Connie (Matthew) Joslin, Kimberly Long and Sue (John) Shultz;
a stepson Randy (Liz) Marten;
and twelve grandchildren.
