August 4, 2008, age 84. Beloved husband of Marjorie and the late Gladys Shirley Neiman for 50 years. Loving father of Diane (Jack) Wilson, Pamela (Norbert) Zawierucha, Arthur and Larry. Stepfather of Lenore (the late James) Mead, Sharon (Robert) Hines, Debra (Skip) Glomb, Norma Kelly, Nelda (Larry) Rodriguez, Susann (Dan) Langer, George (Cindy) Underhill, and Ruthann. Proud grandfather of 31 and great-grandfather of two. Dear brother to 14 siblings. Mr. Ness was proud to have served his country during WWII in Germany. He was an avid sportsman in his younger years and loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed going to the VFW Hall and spending time with his family. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. VFW service, and Thursday 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd.).
