Donna (Files) Freeman, 71, of Hudson, formerly of Stow and Acton, died suddenly April 21, 2016 at the Marlborough Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry D. Freeman, to whom she was married for 35 years at the time of his passing in 1997. Born in Waltham and raised in Acton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence D. and Theodora (Jameson) Files, and sister of the late Richard, Orren and Donald Files. A graduate of the Acton schools, Mrs. Freeman centered her life around her family and especially loved time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by four sons, David, Greg, Mark and Todd; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Wed. April 27th from 5-8pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Funeral services will be Thurs. April 28th 11am at the funeral home with burial in Brookside Cemetery, Stow.
