Daughter of Mary Clark-McCoy; wife of Charles Calvin Moore. Charles was the 13th Governor of Idaho, he served two terms as Governor.
He was the co-founder of Ashton, Idaho and served as Federal Land Commissioner for Herbert Hoover. He was married to Minnie McCoy in 1886 and moved to Idaho in 1899 where he taught school in Boise and then in St Anthony at the Hibbard School. He and Minnie had 4 children; Ira, Mabel, Grigsby, and Marion. He was instrumental in bringing settlers to Idaho to farm. He was a staunch republican and was chairman of the Republican convention twice. He spent his life in public service and left Idaho a better place to live and prosper.
