Marvin married Ethel REEF on Dec. 24, 1913, in Carroll County, Indiana. Their son Russell was born in 1915 in Carroll County, Indiana. Their son Glen was born in 1917 in Indiana. Marvin, Ethel, and their two young sons moved to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, before 1920. Marvin worked on his uncle's farm. While living in Regina, Ethel birthed a set of twins in May 1920 -- a boy and a girl. Before 1930, the family moved back to Indiana.
