Louise Powell, 75, of Waynesboro, died on March 10, 2006, at her residence.
She was an office clerk.
Born Feb. 24, 1931, she was the daughter of William Edward Freeman and Caroline Beech.
She was married to Pat Powell, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. William E. and Alana Powell and Anthony and Pam Powell, all of Waynesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Arthur Bennett of Sandhill, and Great and Rick Chapman of Clara; two brothers, Ed W. Freeman of Boise, Idaho, and Charles Freeman of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Betty Waters of Warner Robbins, Ga.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on March 12, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Waynesboro, with Dr. Steve Smith officiating.
Interment followed at Serenity Gardens of Waynesboro.
Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
