She was born in Runge, Texas on February 19, 1923, to Reinhold and Hilda (Butschek) Seifert and attended school in Nordheim, Texas. She married Marvin Holubec in 1943, and they made their home in Beeville, Texas for over 50 years. Norene was a homemaker her whole life and a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Holubec; son, Carl Holubec; and a brother, Clarence Seifert.
A funeral service will be held at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, Beeville, Texas on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Duggan, Brian Holubec, Craig Fitzhugh, Brent Holubec, John Holubec, and Ron Seifert.
