Matthew Scott Blickle, age 39 of Lombard, formerly of St. Charles, passed away May 4, 2016. He was born December 7, 1976, in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur, IL. Matt really liked to fish, and was a hard worker. He never met a stranger, and loved kids. Matt had a Big Heart.
He is survived by his parents; James (Charlotte) Blickle of St. Charles, IL, mother; Carol Johnson of Lombard, IL brother; Eric Blickle of Batavia, IL, step-brother Terry (Heather) Buckallew of Davenport, IA, step-sister Leighanne Schloemer of Davenport, IA, step-brother Joseph (Rickie) Schloemer of Moline, IL, maternal grandmother Shirley Hillyard of Lombard, IL, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents Mary and Walter Blickle, and Louis Hillyard.
Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be noon Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL.
