PLUMLEE, Mattie Reed passed peacefully from this world May 29, 2016. Mrs. Plumlee was born in Evangeline Parish, LA, Nov. 9, 1912. She was the daughter of Adam and Cleonise (Deville) Reed and the granddaughter of Alexander and Corrine Deville. Mrs. Plumlee was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Carl Plumlee; and her son, Richard Carl Plumlee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Plumlee resided in Palm Harbor since 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia (Plumlee) Kolb of Palm Harbor; her grandson, Richard Carl Kolb (Madeleine); and three great-grandchildren, Meghan, Alex, and Zachary all of Tarpon Springs; her granddaughter, Leslie (Plumlee) Davis (Paul) of Marietta, GA; and daughter-in-law, Beverly Plumlee of Macon, GA. Mrs.Plumlee was very loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Thursday, June 2, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.
