Car-tractor crash fatal for morotist

McCARTYVILLE - A 57-year-old Minster motorist died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney of injuries he received earlier Saturday when his car collided with a farm tractor.

Highway patrolmen from the Piqua patrol post said Howard S. Griner of Minster was traveling north on Rt. 29, south of here, when his car struck the rear of a tractor being operated by Arthur L. Fogt S., 64, of Rt. 2, Anna.

Garner's death was the second traffic fatality in Shelby County this year. Fogt was not injured, patrolmen said.
