Juan Aguilar died on May 20, 2016 at the age of 98. He was born on March 27, 1918 to Melchiades and Guadalupe Aguilar. He is preceded in death by his wife, Genoveva V. Aguilar; son Armando Aguilar and siblings, Antonio Aguilar, Jesus Aguilar, Encarnacion Aguilar, Andrea Aguilar and Alejos Aguilar. He is survived by his children, Luis Aguilar, Alberto (Julia) Aguilar, Rodolfo Aguilar, Raul Aguilar, Juan Jose (Mary Jane) Aguilar, Angelita Aguilar and Oralia Aguilar; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation was held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Peters Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Sacred heart Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
