Rev. Mark Rymal Chapman was the son of Rev. Jeremiah Anderson and Sarah Jane (Rowse) Chapman. He was the husband of Nellie May (Wilson) Chapman. They were married August 23, 1905. Nellie died May 30, 1935. Rev. Chapman was a minister in the Toronto Conference of the Methodist Church of Canada 1895 F 1899 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church on credentials 1900.
