Esther M. Haskins, 83, of Lumpkin, Ga., and formerly of Vero Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, in Four County Health Care. Born Sept. 13, 1921, in Newville, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Mary (Watson) Hollenbaugh. She was baptized at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Carlisle. Mrs. Haskins was a retired employee of U-Wanna-Frocks in Newville, the former C.H. Masland and Sons in Carlisle and Holy Spirit Hospital. She had lived in Florida for many years and traveled across North America. Mrs. Haskins is survived by her husband, Russell L. Haskins; two sons, John R. Haskins of Lumpkin, Ga., and Ray R. Haskins of Camp Hill; three sisters, Bertha Shannon of Dillsburg, Mable Jumper of Carlisle and Mary Mowers of Shippensburg; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Duncan, and a son, Donald Haskins. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, with The Rev. David M. Hereshko presiding. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call from noon Saturday until time of services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368.
