EDWARD FLETCHER MCNAIR Edward Fletcher McNair president of the Greenlaw Lumber Company and one of the best known manufacturers in the South passed away Covington, La. July 11 after an illness of some duration. The deceased was born at Washington, Ark. and the major portion of his active life was in one branch or another of the lumber industry. He was 50 years of age and resided at Magnolia Miss where the funeral was held.Besides being president of the Greenlaw Lumber, Mr McNair was heavily interested in other companies operating in Mississippi was a man active in all of his business affairs was highly honored and respected by the trade the nation as well as by the citizens. Mr McNair was a son of General Evander McNair of Mississippi The deceased leaves a widow formerly Miss Margaret Houghton of Summit and six children to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at Magnolia Tuesday last and many throughout that state attended. -
