Mrs. Katherine Teske, 92, of Rochester, succumbs
Mrs. Katherine Teske, 92, of 624 14th St. N.W., a retired longtime Rochester-area homemaker, died Saturday at Rochester Health Care Center where she resided the past two years.
The former Katherine Hinck was born March 13, 1890, in Quincy County, Minn., and married Henry R. Teske. The couple moved to the Rochester area where she was a homemaker and he was was a carpenter. Mr. Teske died in August of 1969.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin and Lester both of Rochester, and Lawrence of Pekin, Wis.; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Ramsey, of South Bend, Ind.; Mrs. Delores Badger of Kirkland, Wash., and Mrs. Donna Hirsch of Nepville, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peace United Church of Christ with the Rev. Merrill Beale officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ranfranz Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today and until noon Tuesday, then at the church one hour before the service.
The family prefers memorials to Peace United Church of Christ's memorial fund.
