Edgar L Kerr, 69, died Tuesday afternoon, Jan 28 at 4 o'clock, in the Curry Home near Waynesburg. Mr Kerr was born April 17, 1872 in Cumberland Township, near Carmichaels and for a number of years was an undertaker at Carmichaels and Millsboro. He also followed farming and stock raising on the Mitchell farm, near Prosperity in Washington County. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge and the Carmichaels Presbyterian Church. His wife, who was Elizabeth Reeds (Reeves) of Khedive, died several years ago. Their only child died in infancy. Surviving are the following cousins: W H Kerr, Mrs. Joseph Richey, Rex Kerr, Mrs. Charles Reeves and Charles Kerr, all of Carmichaels; Homer Kerr of Nemacolin and Guy Kerr of Roscoe. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, Jan 31 in the Condit Funeral Home at Carmichaels. Burial will be in the Laurel Point Cemetery.
