Joseph Norman Wolfe 78, died at 8 a.m. Feb. 17, 1995, in St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born Dec. 21, 1916, in Lima to Carl Edward and Hester Magdalene (Holzfoster) Wolfe. On Dec. 20, 1945, he married Reva Mae Hill, who died Dec.12, 1993. Mr. Wolfe worked for Sealts Cleaning. He was a 1934 graduate of South High School. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in which he held the office of high priest and performed other duties, and was the Lima unit's first branch president for five years. He was a member of American Legion Post 96 and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War Two. Survivors include Five sons, David Wolfe, Paul Wolfe and Phillip Wolfe, all of Lima, Lewis Wolfe of Elida and Richard Wolfe of Monroe,La, three daughters, Katherine Horn of Salt Lake City and Margaret Moore and Lynnette Wolfe both of Lima, a brother Robert W. Wolfe of Lima, two sisters Mary E. Osenbaugh of Van Wert and Helen J. Carolus of Lima, 16 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren , a great-grandchild and four step- great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Siferd Westwood Chapel. Bishop Mark Nelson will officiate, burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
