He married Rosalia Margitan from Verbocz, Slovakia. They had son Michael Jr in Zbudza. Michael Sr immigrated to Lansford PA in 1921 to stay with his brother George. Rosalia & son Michael joined him in Lansford in 1925. They had two more sons, Paul & Joseph in PA, then moved to Perth Amboy NJ where daughter Margaret was born.
