Funeral services for Arthur Clell Adams, 68, a former resident of Ozark and Springfield, who died June 21 at Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, La. were held Sunday, June 23 in the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark with the Rev. Bill Broadhurst officiating. Burial was in the Ozark Cemetery. Mr. Adams, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James F. Adams, was born in Ozark. He attended Drury College and the University of Michigan, and was a civil engineer, an engineer for the Frisco Railway, a member of the Missouri Highway Department, an employee of the Louisiana Highway Department and a member of the New Orleans Levee Commission.

Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth Reid of Ozark; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Neff of Oklahoma City, Okla, and Mrs. L. M. Crosby of Rosenburg, Tex,; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Adams of Ozark; one brother, Dr. Ward A. Adams of Springfield; and one sister, Mrs. Lucile Anderson of Ozark.
