Lavera Larsen Maxfield 1900-1997 Deseret News Sunday, July 13 1997 Lavera Larsen Maxfield died July 10, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah, of causes incident to age. She was born May 9, 1900 in Molen, Utah, the second daughter of John Fredrick and Ellen Hansen Larsen. Dearly loved by all who knew her. We will miss her very much! But we are consoled by the fact that she is happily re-united with the loved ones that have gone before her. La Vera married Carlos Maxfield November 3, 1926 in Castledale, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Carlos Preceded her in Death in 1984. She was a lifelong active member of LDS church, accomplished artist, and avid genealogist. LaVera was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, John Larsen, Ray Larsen, Pearl Allridge, and Aprilla Thornblad. She is survived by her four children, two brothers and two sisters, 13 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, July 15, 1997 at the LDS 11th Ward chapel, 951 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday 6:00-8:00 p.m. July 14, 1997, at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah and at the chapel one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Interment: Lakehills Memorial Park.
