Lenore Rose Worswick Cramer
1920 - 2016

Our loved one, Lenore Rose Worswick Cramer, grand age of 96 years, of Spanish Fork, Utah, left this world for the spirit world on the morning of Friday, July 22, 2016. She left after much discussion with those on the other side and a valiant fight to stay. She was finally convinced that she was needed on the other side, that she would be happy to see her loved ones who had passed on (as they would be to see her), and that those of us who are left behind will be just fine.

She was born to David Edward Worswick and Anna Lenore Beasant Worswick in Chicago, Illinois, on May 13, 1920, and grew up in the town of Maywood, Illinois. She lived to see almost a century of world changes, innovations, events, and many marvelous things! She was a great oldest sister of four girls: Helen Gsoell, deceased, Marguerite Rundquist, deceased, and Annette Gaspirini (Frank).

Lenore married Ralph E. Cramer, and was later divorced. Their journey together took them from Illinois, to Washington D.C., to New York City, to Needles, CA, and finally to Henderson, NV. Her daughters, Diane and Laura were born in Needles, CA, and her son, Keith, was born in Las Vegas, NV. While in Needles, she was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Later, in Henderson, because of her love of music and singing, she was invited to join the Singing Mothers, which led to a testimony of the gospel and her baptism in December of 1955. She has ever retained a strong testimony of the gospel and an active life in the Church.

She spent a part of her life working in various jobs including Sears, Roebuck, and Company in Chicago, the utilities company in Henderson, helping Ralph with bookkeeping, income tax preparation, and financial work with Kolob Federal Credit Union. She served several missions and many, many volunteer hours at the Family History Center in Las Vegas which she loved doing. She spent time dancing and teaching square dancing until life became too busy with children, home, and Church. She always held callings and served diligently in the Church in many different positions. But her priority was her family and home. She did all things homemaking to make her home warm, comfortable, loving, and gospel-oriented for her family. She worked hard to make family outings, vacations, and camping trips across the Western United States, and church activities the best times and memories possible. Her life was based on service, love for her family, love for her church, and on her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

She finally left the heat of Nevada and many, wonderful friends to live in Spanish Fork,Utah, to be a little closer and more central to her scattered family members. It was wonderful for some us to finally live so near her after so many years, and she was so happy for all the visits from family members who were a little farther away!

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Elaine Allen (Ray Glen/Toby, deceased); her daughter, Laura Jean Neel (Roger); her son, Keith Ralph Cramer; her sister, Annette Gaspirini; grandchildren: Trevor, Toni, Reas, Keith, Anna, Sarah, Rachel, Emily, Adam, Logan, Alex; and 26 great-grandchildren.

We express heartfelt appreciation for Maple Creek Home Care and Hospice who have given Lenore such loving, tender, and cheerful care for the past year, most especially Heather and Andrea.
