Born Jan. 6, 1922 in Nicholas County to the late John M. and Willie Keaton Williams Fryman, he was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater and was a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include a son; 2 daughters; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a brother; 3 sisters; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2016 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home, Carlisle, KY by Bro. Bobby Stone. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
