American Entertainer. Martin was the sixth of legendary performer, Dean Martin's, eight children. he was the second child of the marriage of Dean and his wife Jeanne. In the 1970's, Ricci collaborated with Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys to produce the album "Beached". Wilson would later become his brother-in-law. While Ricci was attending the California Institute of the Arts of Cinematography, he met Wilson who would ask Martin to record a single "Stop Look Around". This would evolve into a solo album "Beached" which was produced by Wilson. In the early 70s, Martin would replace his brother Dino in the band, 'Dino, Desi & Billy' who had several hits in the 1960's. Eventually the band split up and Martin toured as The Beach Boys opening act on their U.S. and Canadian tours.

Ricci Martin, divorced, (Annie Rassmussen) leaves behind three children – daughters Pepper, Montana and Rio – as well as his mother, Jeanne Martin, who passed August 24, 2016, 3 weeks after Ricci; four sisters – Gail, Deana, Gina and adopted step-sister Sasha – and brother Craig.

Ricci Martin, an entertainer and the youngest son of Dean Martin, has died, according to family members. He was 62.

"My heart breaks to announce the untimely death of my beloved brother," Ricci's sister Deana wrote on Facebook. "My family and I are devastated. He was one of the sweetest souls I have ever known. Ricci's kindness, sweetness and loving nature will be missed more than words can say. 'Rest in peace, Ricci. I love you!'"

The cause of death is unknown, though earlier this year he canceled his U.K. tour dates after falling on the ice in front of his house. As he explained in a Facebook post in April, he was subsequently hospitalized and diagnosed "with a subdural hematoma as a result of the fall." He stated he had to stop treatment for a deep vein thrombosis, which was at risk of causing a potentially fatal pulmonary embolism. Ricci was recuperating at the time.
